Tipping in the US

I shave my head when my wife complains I am growing a skullet. I trim my beard when it begins to curl.

 

Dang, you need to quit turning me on.

 

T0wards the end of my career, I am going to grow a long skullet so that I can put the hair over my shoulder, and have a bow in it. Like a 17th century boatswain. It may cost me my marriage.

 

I put a generous tip in that first time up. If for no other reason it puts me in bartender's good graces that night.

 

My husband actually tips more than he pays for cuts. But he's been going to the same guy for years and he's never raised the price. I shave my own head with a safety razor so it all balances out.

 

I tried to grow my beard out last month. Gray beard hairs aren’t thick and are borderline weapons

 

Your husband is a genius and planned that. By paying over the base price, the stylist has been trained to believe "this is how much I'm getting, regardless of price."

 

My wife cuts my hair ever since the pandemic started. It's good enough and free, but somehow the sex stopped. I might have been played.

 

I went to Kentucky Derby event that was supposed to end at 10. The bartender was making so much money in tips that she agreed to stay another hour. It was a good investment of an hour.

 

She's declining the tip?

 

She said she didn't want one. I didn't understand the meaning until it was too late.

 

Sounds about right. Definitely the brains of this relationship.

 

And apparently the hair.

Probably more enjoyment for her of just cutting hair with no tip.

 

I've long made peace with it. Now just rollin' with my homies.
