You gotta trust your pen in a 3-1 game, you absolutely have to trust your pen the batter after it becomes a 3-3 game after your pitcher has gonna hit hard multiple times in the inning

 

I just mean that pitch 2 outs and about to end the inning. I was good with Burns finishing the inning.

Just feels like too many missed opportunities. Came out of the first with just 1 run despite having the starter completely rattled. Then couldn’t bring anyone else home despite having 0 outs and a guy on second.

Not over, but it doesn’t feel like we’ve played well enough to deserve the win either.
