And our grandson (his son) should. He is pontificating what his project will be. He just turned 16, has his license, has a girlfriend, lifeguards for his summer job so his brain is not always focused.

 

I am confident KidB would find my crowd too old.

 

And it shouldn't be, imo. 16 year olds should be doing exactly what he's doing.

Final thoughts on Montana. This is the first place I've ever visited where I legitimately thought I could love. I absolutely loved this place.

 

A week has passed since I got home, and for the first time in my life I have post trip depression. All I want to do is sleep.

Anyone have any advice?

Usually after a week I'm ready to come home. Not this time.

Go up to the Smokies, and hike to a waterfall. Y'all live in a nice place too.

 

Maybe. I just know I loved everything about the area to the west of glacier.

 

Yesterday we had all day and nothing to do so we drove up and tried to at least go in many glacier entrance to saybwe had gotten to all of them. They were full and we couldn't get it but we drove through the middle of the state. I drove between 80 and 90 on two lane roads for over 3 hours. Most of time I was the only car on tue highway. It was heaven.

 

I talked and drank with a gentlemen at the Jason Eady/Chris Knight show Friday was a retired armor officer, his post military career is smoking pot and going to live shows.

I need to find a gig like that.

Was over in Asheville, he's a good show. He's not an entertainer, per se; his songs are top notch though

Haha no doubt on the entertainer part. I’ve only seen him once and he looked like he’d have preferred it if the bar were empty, that’s ok by me though I just wanna hear him play no frills needed.

Boarding a plane right now heading back from Seattle/Leavenworth. Brother lives out here and it's phenomenal.

Fun fact - the residents in the area where Bezos, Gates, et al. live aren't allowed to use the public library. They voted that they didn't want to pay the taxes to support it.
