I have and agree with you. However, we've played 3 road games this year - 1 was messy, 1 was excellent, and 1 was awful (against best defense in country, granted). We're a lot better, but tend to be messier on the road. Could be another LSU, but 2/3 so far have been klunky.
It will be like a sugar rush, and when we get up 14 on them they will all come crashing down like a toddler coming off of cotton candy.
Watching some USCjr guys on youtube, and reading the comments is so startling. It reminds me of what I have been seeing Vols fans say the last 15 years. One USCjr commenter was talking about coaching issues he sees on the team. "You are not a real fan" "How would you have coached? You ever play?" "It's year two, what do you expect?" Man, it feels so good to finally be out of that [uck fay]ing death spiral of shit.
You know as someone who was down and dead wrong on us preseason, and predicted this would be a loss, I think we absolutely destroy them. They are barely any better than last season, feeding off of badly overrated preseason teams(Kentucky/A&M vs Auburn/Florida last year) their QB situation has somehow gotten worse, their defense isn't good, their offense is worse, their best passer is a punter. This thing might be uglier than last year's first half and especially if Sampson gets more involved. I'm usually pessimistic but I just don't see a way they can stop us. Maybe the crowd will affect us?
To expound, they're not in the top 50 for total O(92nd), total D(76th?) scoring D(68th), or scoring O(69th). I can't think of a single matchup on the field where they have a sizeable advantage if any at all. They are decent against the pass but I think it's because they are DREADFUL against the run. Their passing game is eh, but Rattler has been pasted so many times that if we get to him it's a wrap. Which I'm very confident is what will happen.
