Do we really think we are going to stop their QB and #14? I am shaking in my boots over this game. Add in a drop off on offense with Milton taking over and this feels like a disaster waiting to happen.
How did we go from thinking we were a playoff team who could beat any big 10 school to afraid of vandy in 1 week
South Carolina feels like a blueprint, and we obviously never adjusted to anything they were doing. Nothing is off the table now. Hopefully our defense was intentionally letting them score, because otherwise they need to prepare to go pro in something other than sports. I feel like half of the team sabotaging the other half is actually the best case here.
We collapsed and have to wear it. It’s either a fluke or we got exposed. The coaches and team must choose. As far as I am concerned we need to win by 40 or lose. If we play Vandy as an equal then we are what we were. If we smoke them then we prove it’s a fluke. It’s Vandy. If this game is in question now or during the game, then…we are a fraud. Nut up
Because we lost our heisman QB and our music city bowl defense has returned. And Vandy is playing well. They moved the ball pretty well on us last year but we kept scoring.
Also doesn't Orange take Big 10 OSU/Michigan loser ahead of an SEC school? Or does Rose get to take them this year? Looks like Rose isn't a semi-final game this year so I guess they would take the loser.. but not sure if that even matters.
I think Tennessee would’ve been a big TV draw with Hooker, but not sure we’ll be viewed as favorably with a backup quarterback. Maybe if we bounce back and put up a big number against Vandy.
Sugar gets top ranked SEC team outside of playoff. Orange gets highest ranked after rose/sugar from big, sec, or ND. Cotton will take highest ranked team that doesn't take any other spots. Barring upsets, Georgia - cfp LSU - sugar Bama - orange UT - cotton
Games like South Carolina baffle me, I was in shock watching in disbelief so I couldn't say whether this team could be at anyone, I'm gut punched. Imagine explaining that loss to a bunch of Sooner and Cowboy fans how we got torched fighting for a playoff spot.
Both of those teams had similar letdowns half a dozen times each, so that is convenient for explaining.
