I listened today as well. It was Will Heflin on with them. He’s a great dude, incredible athlete. Honestly all the pods with the former players are must listens - Luc, Russell, Heflin. Anytime any of those guys are talking the fanbase needs to listening if they want to know what’s going on inside the program.
He only caught 9 games and DH in rest of them. Their other catcher was an experienced guy who is a T100 player for next years draft I believe. Think this is wanting a shot at everyday player for future stock considerations.
Picked up the Snead kid from Wichita State. Picked us over.................Arkansas. Let the meltdown begin.
Get the pitcher from Bama and plug him into the weekend rotation with Russell and Beam, this kid from Wichita and the kid from Jacksonville State as key pieces out of the pen. Grab someone to lock down the SS position and let's head back to Nebraska next year.
Also, super excited to see what we will get out of Sloop. 6'7" kid that hit 95 on his fastball his senior year of high school.
