If you were a fan of some acc team, it would be so much cheaper. Did you see the comparison in conference championship game prices? We are basically drinking scotch when everyone else is drinking fireball.
Mason's problem was he went to coach at Vandy. Maybe he made some good money, but it hurt his coaching cred. (But then again, it was fricking Vandy.) We'll see how well he does at MTSU.
Me either. IIRC, he rode the coattails of Franklin's recruits in year one (especially) defense. I think his best record was 6-7? And we continued to suck during his tenure.

Mason took vandy to 2 bowl games, only other coach to go to more than 1 with them was Franklin. Their defenses were feisty, and kept them in games. They beat Georgia on the road. The administration there did him 0 favors while he was there, and then Clark Lea comes and they give the 300mil upgrade deal. We all know what he helped build at Stanford. I don’t think he was great after vandy though so he might suck now who knows.

If he came to UT, I'd be pushing his Stanford time and blaming Vandy for the bad stuff. He's not, so I (and suspect most of us) don't care. I hope he does good at MTSU, just because I had a favorite aunt go there.
