Seldon had to have shoulder surgery. Out for rest of spring. Hope he’s ready to go in the fall.

Wikipedia is wrong about Tennessee's all time win %. The numbers are correct but the % is wrong. Their cited source has the correct %.

This pisses me off.

 

You've got to remember that there are several variables that always contribute to differing results. Of them, one is how to factor in ties (which usually is counted as a .5 win and a .5 loss) and the other is how to address forfeits/vacated wins etc. Also, as I found out recently, some schools will not certify the results from the latter category until the sanctioned school agrees with the NCAA ruling where the win or tie has been retroactively forfeited or vacated.

 

Check it, I am very sure. The source they cite has it correct. The calculation for the numbers in the table do not match the %.

 

No one is saying you're wrong. The good thing about Wikipedia is you, yourself can edit it
