Even if your scenario is what happened, Butch tried to cover it up. Hevs lied to Currie and publicly to the media. If you watched his Monday press conference, you heard a reporter specifically ask Butch about injuries from the game. The reporter even asked if Josh Smith was the only significant injury. Butch said yes. Smith was the only injury that might cause lost playing time.


In most cases, the cover up is worse than the crime.

 

It'd be hard to get a baseline on a 17 year old freshmen.
