its the same ol same ol as far as "my sources are saying" type of stuff go....but he got news from 2 different knox business owners/friends....with ties to UT, that say its a done deal. of course tifwiw....but he is the guy running down planes, camping in the parking lot for hours. lol. I think if he was gon bullshit.....it would have been earlier with all the other trolls. plus, those around him are saying the same. check Houston kress twitter. he literally just tweeted a gif of a big ass whale breaching water

Tennessee is losing the infatuation with Gruden. Need to hire Mike Norvell.

 

What do you guys think of UT hiring Jon Gruden with Tee Martin O.C. and head coach in waiting? How about Dale Jones as LB coach? Any opinions?

if you believe the power shift in boosters has happened, which I do.....then youll know, there is no other option. its always been gruden. since fulmer got pushed out. ive been hearing grumors since 08. this time....it feels different, looks different, sounds different.

 

I am not thrilled with Tee as O.C. either, however he is a good recruiter and relates well to today's athlete. I really like Dale Jones as LB coach, great player at UT and good coach at Appy State. Head coach in waiting title may be the carrot that moves Tee to make a decision. All hypothetical of course.

 

Have no idea why'd you go to those lengths to get him.

 

Want Lane as OC

 

Tee looks over his head. Dale Jones is still my favorite player.

 

Tee may be over his head but everything will be via Jon's headset and pre-game planning will consist of a large input from him. Lane Kiffin is not going to step down from a head coaching position to be the OC at Tennessee or anywhere else.

 

if we get back to a badass OL like Tee had shoving people around, 3 nfl rbs, nfl wrs on the outside, get back to a dominant run game then hit them up top when the bring the safeties in, Tee is fine.

 

I doubt Tee will be involved.

 

I don't know but the idea of him demanding to be HC in waiting seems silly to me. We wouldn't agree to it and he doesn't have the leverage and experience to demand it.
