Stephen Hawking has passed. Iconic genius to say the least.

 

Brief History of Time was my first foray into physics.

Pretty sad that this is still nowhere to be found on CNN.

 

Well damn

 

I am sad. But it is absolutely amazing he lived this long with his disease.

 

It's sad I have yet to read it, but it seems appropriate to do so now.

 

In Weird Al's "White and Nerdy" he has a line where he says "I have Stephen Hawking in my library" and he is holding a book "The Illustrated Brief History of Time".

I have that book.

Pretty sure it's a parody of "Ridin'" by Chamillionaire.

 

The number of people on social media who are informing anyone that will listen that he is burning in hell is, well, not surprising and sad.

 

Happened with Billy Graham, too. Everyone that doesn’t think like you goes to hell.

 

Miserable, disgusting frauds desperate to feel superior to others. Unfortunately I'm quite familiar with the type.

 

January 8, 1642... death of Galileo.

March 14, 2018... death of Hawking.

...March 14... 3/14... "Pi" Day.

What is sad is when people seem genuinely happy they are going to hell.

 

Interesting. Not doubting it happened, but I didn't see any of that in my circles - many of which are super gay.
