Client of firm brought her in. They were "dating" at the time I guess, and I kind of had no choice. Well, they are no longer "dating" and I'm stuck with her. Sweet gal, but good Lord I don't think quite gets the situation she's in.

 

Some people don't sweat the little stuff, I guess. I'd be shitting myself so bad I wouldn't sleep for days.

 

I'm about sick of the rain here. It's rained almost every weekend in November and December and the forecast holds this will continue for the rest of the month.

Earthquake woke the boy up last night.

 

Mine got up this morning "what earthquake?"

 

I'm amazed how many people noticed a 4.4. I think I'd assume it was a passing truck subconsciously and ignore it.

 

Dog went nuts and it rattled a bit. We've had a ton of fighter jets over the last couple days, that's what I assumed it was.

 

It is the sheer length of the quake. If it only lasted a couple of seconds, yeah. But my whole house shook for a good 20 seconds, just like a jet was flying over. Well, it didn't shake, it vibrated. My wife seemed to enjoy it, now that I think about it.

 

First time she's been rattled in years

 

Dog wasn't happy with it, I assumed it was something outside so ignored it.

 

Was going to make a crack about sneaking into your bedroom, but that’s about twice as long a timeframe as would be believable.

 

My dog slept through it. She's pretty much worthless in the security department unless it's a vicious squirrel climbing a tree.
