Lots of Nixon hate here, not undeserved, but he did some good things too. Being involved in the creation of the EPA in 1970 & OSHA in 1971 being 2 examples.
Nixon as a leader is the embodiment of 20th century America. smart, accomplished, visionary, vain, petty, determined, flawed, and stubborn. he's the best and worst.
Which I understand completely. If a murdering doctor comes up with a cure for cancer, the doctor is still a murderer.
