I tend to give someone a chance in person, before assuming I already knew everything about them. Plus if its just a lunch or meeting or beer or whatever, whats the harm.

I'd be pleased to meet any president. I can't fathom why someone wouldn't.

I personally didn't care for Obama as a president, but think I'd drink whiskey with him. Seems like he can get a joke and I figure he knows enough to say [uck fay] Auburn if the subject comes up

Same. It would be an honor, no matter who was holding office.

Since this thread is about Democrats, good as any place.

Seems to be a couple of important details missing from this tweet, and the replies are exactly what you would expect.

I read a story the other day that said she was feeling ill and went to sleep in the back of his car. He did not know she was in the car until the next day when she was discovered.

I find that hard to believe.

Namely that Kennedy himself said she left the party with him.

I figure that was the case as well but given it’s been 50 years and he’s dead it’s hard for me to get too interested.

They're negotiating. I don't see anything particularly egregious. It looks like the issue is that they work more than 40 hours so the salary doesn't reflect 15 dollars an hour. Not really a big deal if they work it out.

I'm just sayin'. I see this popping up all over social media, but there isn't really any meat to it.

Sounds like the Bernie campaign workers are saying that $15/hr is not a living wage.
