I am still referred to as the Pomp Nazi by several of the guys whenever we run into each other.

ESPNU is showing rhe top 25 games from 2018. CFB season is almost here.

 

"Top 25 games". Clemson's 30 point beatdown of Duke was the #17 game, followed up at #16 by the UF @ MSU shit show in Starkville. Not sure what the [uck fay] they were doing when they picked the games.

 

Right now they’re showing #12 which is Georgia’s domination of Auburn.

I assume 1 is LSU/A&M, but would not be surprised if it's Clemson/BC.

 

Also goes to show how few great games there are in college football, at least at the P5 level. I doubt someone wants to watch Colorado St vs Murray, no matter how great a game it is.

*no clue if C St vs Murray was a good game or not, just pulled two esoteric teams out of my head.

 

It's mainly just football on TV, and it's good to have on in background if nothing else is on.

 

That LSU/TAMU was horseshit. It was one of the worst officiated games I've ever watched and it's also spawned this belief that Jimbo is more than a jackass drunk.

 

I disagree. there are many great games, but these lists only seem to pull from ranked/hyped matchups.

 

Clemson- A&M was pretty great.

 

Jimbo is what Jimbo is. He's gonna try to out-talent you and nothing more.

 

Rewatch? Naw. However, I’d rather watch Thursday Night Maction over 99% of NFL games.

 

Same. I’d hypothetically watch North Texas vs. Georgia Southern or Memphis vs Houston this year before any regular season NFL game.

When would you point to as the time you liked it most? Just curious, I don’t really have a take one way or the other I’ve always been much more of a college fan.

 

The NFL was great in the 90s.
