I’m familiar with that testimony. It was specifically limited to the rocket docket trial program in McCallen. I don’t know enough about this to have an independent view. But from what I read from immigration experts, the rocket docket construct drives high in absentia rates and was in no way representative of general results - both historical (Obama) and current (Trump).

I have not advocated for blanket amnesty or taking everyone. I have objected to impossibly expensive walls, separating families, and no due process.

See, you see it as US vs the world. Either we win or we lose. I don't think it is purely zero sum game. I don't think we can really win if everyone else is losing. that's just as true nationally as internationally. illegal immigration is surplus human misery and hopelessness from wherever they came from.

why isn't the employer of 600 illegal immigrants in Mississippi not in any legal trouble?

Do you think it is just coincidence that those employees won a class action lawsuit against their employer over sexual harassment and are owed millions?

I'd just think the employer would surely have a hard time accidentally hiring 600 illegals. I guess Koch Foods is just super lucky. illegal labor for years, suddenly discovered once they won a lawsuit.

 

Definitely not a coincidence and the owner/s and everyone else involved who knew they were hiring illegals should be punished.
