It was. One of the ugliest football games I've ever watched in person. For 3 quarters we were just a little less ugly. We all sat together 2 years later and finally after a terrible half we found redemption.
Someone said Jahmir Johnson wasn't in warmups. Wonder if he quit after losing his spot. VQ had been alluding to this earlier.
Do you remember Butch blowing his last TO following a dead ball PF with about a minute left in that '14 game? What an idiot.
I was in Hohenfels last month as a part of an orientation/in processing of sorts. Basically, our boss and I started on the same day back in May, and he didn't feel comfortable driving down there even though I basically forced him to drive back from Landstuhl a couple of weeks before that. He has responsibility there. Me, not as much.
Still kills me thinking about it. Up 9-0, at home, only needing to hang on for 15 minutes against a team that can’t possibly drive the full length of the field for a score. You could literally punt it away on first down of every remaining position of the game and get out with the W. Just don’t do anything stupid....
Iir, we had just run for 5 and it was 2nd and medium. Run once more and an already dejected UF defense and crazy crowd goes into the 4th quarter with a lead and a first down or 3rd and 1-3. Instead, sack, fumble, qb replacement, td in next minute. Crowd gone. Team knows. Game over. Dumb[uck fay] My now 13 year old was with me when we left. He was mad at me. Then we listened on the radio and were halfway back to Nashville when it ended. So of course he thought i could see the future and wasnt mad anymore. Now he's done. GS did him in. He didnt even check in today. Think he may like Wisconsin
