I dont like putting too much weight on one game. Especially when you re in the shape we re in. But the outcome of that game is important for salvaging something in this season. Last nite told me Pruitt still has the attention of his team and they are invested. QB showed enough to tell me they have someone that can improve there and I think the team is glad for the move. State has some talent but they are not in the class of UF, UGA or Bama. The other game is SC.
Wish they didnt have a bye week. feel as if they could run wildcat and read option with their qb every play and we wont be able to stop it.
Need to but JJ and Callaway both over 100 is nice to see as well. When is the last time that happened?
Gray is kinda fading. He's getting a couple of touches, but he seems to need some initial space to get going and he hasn't been getting that kind of touch. Definitely something for Chaney to think about and work on.
Gray needs to work on his speed a little. He's quick and shifty with good feet and ability to one foot cut, but need more burst.

I’m excited about the youth. Morris makes freshman plays sometimes but that kid was going after it all night.
I get no feeling what the threshold is for holding on to recruits, but if they beat State, I think the fan base will stay engaged for the rest of the season.
