The only thing worse than Mike Debord becoming OC is Braden Gall's opinion on anything. That guy would be better served discussing the bar scene in East Nashville or the latest news on Mumford and Sons than college football. He's right about Debord though but don't tell Braden that because he already knows he's never been wrong before.

there is a reason someone hasn’t held a meaningful position in nearly a decade.

True words there. for christsakes, consider this coach:
    Offensive Line/Linebackers - 4 years
    Offensive Line - 8 years
    Offensive Line/Offensive Coordinator - 4 years
    Head Coach - 17 years
    1 national championship
    2 SEC titles
    6 SEC East titles
    Last real coaching experience: 2008

hiring fulmer, of all people, would have made more sense than hiring debord.

Fulmer would break out some ricin, Walter White style, and coach the team again by 2018.

The hits keep on coming. Our program has become a sitcom.

RockyHill Loves Auburn more than Tennessee.

Been that way for a while now.

And this from the same blog in 2011:

Seems Michigan fans feel about DeBord about the same way we feel about him.

exactly. Good hires don't need the endorsement tour or to skip a press conference.

It would be really really hard to think of a potentially worse hire, or think of some halfway believable way to stifle the program's momentum in a worse way.

I can only hope that so many people, like me, just have no clue - and Butch is a football genius that has hidden his talent till now.

Every bit of optimism I had after the bowl game and Bajakian's departure has vanished... why does this program IN-****ING-SIST on hiring the worst possible coaches every.single.time...? We got rid of the second worst OC in the history of OC's and replaced him with a guy so bad he couldn't even get a job the past few years... hell, Randy Sanders would be an upgrade over what we have now.
