Tennessee is the current leader for 4* B.J. Emmons and said that NC, Tennessee and Georgia are recruiting him hardest. Emmons has oscillated between Tennesse and GA (whom he once was committed (Dec 01)) as his leaders. Also, he's hoping to p/u offers from LSU & TAMU stating LSU's tradition and that he has "family in Texas" as reasons

Emmons is a physical 'back that demonstrates good speed, quickness, vision, and a non-stop motor.

CB and RB are priority needs this cycle.

For all Mark Richt's flaws, he can scout RB talent like no other. Landing a guy he wants would be huge.

Yes, all the more sweet given that he needs RB's as bad as we do

I wonder if his daddy's name is Bobby Emmons that played with me?

Apparently his father was killed during a fight just feet from B.J. when he was 10. Here's the link to the story w/ a video embedded and his fathers pic comes into view at the 37 sec mark if you wish to see if that's Bobby.

    Ha.

A lot of schools backed off of him due to grades, but seeing as how Tennessee doesn't have a RB committed, I doubt Tennessee did.

We have to land a stud RB in this class.

Then we better pray Hurd stays for his senior year or a JUCO comes into the fold.
