I don't follow recruiting much, and I definitely don't try to get the inside scoop on high schoolers, but a lot of D1 bound local kids that I've talked to think Lyle is full of crap.

 

I'm also no program insider, but have chatted with some former players that say he makes a lot of promises that total BS.

 

Why? The receiver coaching and pass game have been a laughing stock.

You just hope Butch sees how easy life becomes when you hire people worth a damn (Shoop).

But we'll probably just be the Miss St. Of the East.

Yeah. I think the bigger point is there is no excuse for it to be that way.

 

In a perfect world we have a huge season, fire Azzani, and Clemson underperforms. Crazier things have happened.

 

I don't follow recruiting at all so forgive my ignorance, but would it be safe to say these kids would be near locks of we threw the ball at all and didn't have an asshat coaching receivers.

 

I've said this before, but if he isn't going to recruit,, there is literally zero reason to keep him around. He can't do anything else.

Yep. There's literally not a single [dadgum] reason this kid should even be thinking about going to college any where else.

 

Clemson has won 10 games and finished top 15 the past 4 years. UT hasn't done that since this kid was a 3rd grader.
