Apparently he hardly played until this year. Here are his senior stats: 66 receptions 1,562 yards 23.7 yard average 18 TD’s
His size, film, and stats screams elite. There has to be something missing here. Grades, character, etc. Hard to believe he is this under the radar.
Apparently we also offered his teammate, Kurott Garland. Garland has no 247 or rivals profile. However one list had him as the 118th best player in GA. Pruitt and staff must really like what they see on film. But if a head scratcher. Edit: looks like 247 just made a profile of him.
Hasn't he only played a year or two of football? If he's playing at a school that isn't known for football and has only been playing for a year or two, that's how you slide under the radar
Or he played baseball or basketball and decided to play football late. Could have played flag or 7 v 7 to and trained on footwork and routes...getting more training than at a football practice. Maybe he had a bad qb prior, maybe he didn't camp at all. Could be anything. He either looks like he can play or doesnt. Be interested to see his story.
