Saw in another thread a few guys arguing about whether talent was even vs better. Here are the stats using rivals/247. Tennessee QB-4*/4* RB-5*/5* WR-4*/5* WR-4*/5* WR-4*/4* TE-4*/3* OT-4*/4* OG-4*/4* OC-4*/3* OG-3*/3* OT-4*/4* DE-4*/3* DT-5*/4* DT-4*/5* DE-4*/5* LB-4*/4* LB-4*/4* NB-4*/4* CB-4*/3* CB-3*/3* FS-3*/4* SS-4*/4* Starters: 2 5*/17 4*/3 3* 2nd String:5 5*/11 4*/6 3* OU QB-3*/4* RB-4*/4* WR-4*/0* WR-4*/4* WR-4*/4* WR-4*/3* OT-3*/3* OG-3*/2* OC-4*/3* OG-3*/4* OT-3*/3* DE-4*/4* DT-4*/4* DE-3*/3* LB-3*/3* LB-3*/3* LB-3*/4* LB-3*/3* CB-3*/4* FS-3*/4* SS-4*/4* CB-3*/3* Starters: 9 4*/13 3* 2nd String: 11 4*/10 3*/1 0* It's pretty obvious that we have way more talent than OU on paper. Hopefully that translates to a win on the field.
Meh, they got a 0* on that depth chart. That gives them sound advantage, especially if he's from near Norman.
I'd be curious to know what this looked like for the TN/OK game last year. Not curious enough to figure it out myself...but curious still. Dobbs was a 3-star on Rivals, btw.
Hearing that the OL is still a big concern by some. This comes from a fellow 8ther. I ll let him claim the credit when he shows back up.
