Great idea...

 

Hard to believe we're holding the #3 class in the country at this moment.

Who knows where we'll finish, but I never thought Butch would create that kind of momentum early on.

 

Definiely...never imagined he could have started this strong without coaching a game...could all still change. Hopefully he can show something this year. .

 

How many can we take in this class?

Definitely. ..just needs to show some signs that he belongs. He'll be able to recruit at a high level if he can just win some football games. This is not year zero either. ..

 

Awesome idea. Might consider adding position/stars to the list, if it's not too much trouble.

Probably our biggest need is a tackle who can start immediately. Probably JUCO

Originally 30, now hearing 33, 8 would need to be EE's (Early Enrollment) and would count against '13 class.

They're in on two that I know of that could help immediately.

I believe Kerbyson is going to be a very good tackle and Jackson can be a very good guard. Posey can be an above average guard.

 

Butch is telling these guys Tennessee may lose a lot of games this year too. He's not building this class on winning right out of the gate, that this class is going to be what turns the ship around.

 

I predict this thread sees a lot of action during June-July.

 

That article was wrong. It's 30, assuming Jonathan Johnson comes in. 31 if not.

 

It's pretty amazing what Butch has done. This has been beyond everyone's wildest expectations.

 

Agreed. He's come in and made top flight instate talent a priority along with the important regions for us( ATL, Virginia, etc.). Although I'm not a fan of social media with recruiting, it's a must now and he's killing it in that department.
