Fellas, don't be quick to forget that Tennessee is a major program. It's not like it's some backwater directional institution we come here to discuss.

That being said, being on top of recruiting battles such as this one has been rare over the last few years.

The fact that we aren't taking a QB this class and will have two great classes of skill players should be appealing.

He just signed an extension with the Jets amazingly enough

 

After watching him here, Matt Simms getting any sort of NFL attention at all might be the most surprising football-related thing I can think of.

 

Just makes the Dooley era even more pathetic. The only time the offense could do anything even resembling productive was with Bray freewheeling or Patterson playing a video game in real life.

His top three are Miami, Ohio State, and Tennessee. He is visiting campus this weekend. I'm beginning to think we have a really good shot at this guy.

 

It's also of note that even though he named a final three, he is visiting like 6 of the SEC schools. Kid is playing the game and I don't blame him one bit.

 

He has said he wants to wait until the end to make his decision. But he's obviously being pressured to narrow things down.
