It's always a little tougher recruiting over and turning away an instate kid. I don't know why they would take his commitment as late as they did just to turn him loose.

I like Philips and all, but it seems we have a good enough crop of DEs between this year and last that we can afford to miss out on him.

 

I think he'll end up a dt, but Tennessee is cleaning up there too

 

I hope we end up cleaning up. We just have this history of coming in second for DTs. Hope guys don't decommit. We lay an egg in November and I'll be nervous about defections.

 

I doubt McKenzie switches either way. Tuttle would be the one I'd be most worried about...

 

Fortunately, UNC is in worse shape than UT to keep Tuttle from turning to his runner up.
