Breaking: Vols Land 4* QB

 

The day after the two committed QBs start class, Butch gets Jones too.

Three 4 star QBs in one class. Surely, one can play.

 

Makes you wonder about Jones possibly having been a silent commit.

 

Dobbs, Dormady, Jones and Jennings.

That's good.

 

Add in Peterman and it's the best of all time.

 

If I had to guess, one of the 3 either transfers or changes position after year one.

 

I feel like that could have been the case if we didn't get Jones, anyway. We seem to bleed QB's.

 

Pretty obvious Butch waited til the other two took a class to take jones's commitment. I'm impressed honestly.

 

Haven't people been saying Jennings has NFL potential at the safety position?

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and say he flips to safety after spring or summer camps.

 

Could someone break the numbers down? By my count we are going to have a larger incoming class than UT's annual enrollment.

 

People say that, but Jennings wants to be a QB. He's worked and gotten a lot better at it, too.

 

Tennessee's class can be either 28 or 29.

 

Well we have 28 now.

 

Is that counting the LS?

 

I doubt Lovingood takes a scholarship up in this class, so that puts you at 27.

You get Love, Allen and Sapp and you have to cut one guy if Lovingood doesn't take a scholarship. Perry is the most likely imo, because the guy may go on to play professional baseball.

 

I highly doubt Tennessee lands Newsome, but they would work him in, somehow.

 

Jennings will get an opportunity @ QB. If scouting reports are accurate then Dormady and Jones will be the better, hopefully he'd rather move to safety then transfer knowing (wherever that may be) still there's no guarantee he'll play / start QB

 

This is kind of what I'm hoping for. Jennings should get a shot at QB for sure. But if it doesn't work out, hopefully he sees his potential at safety, if that in fact is where he could make millions one day.
