Finally got ahead of things at all the works this week. I'm ready for a day of basketball before the girlfriend arrives.
they helped, but he killed it from deep in that tourney. Those guys don't win without Alford any more than he wins without him. I don't like the guy, but he changed defenses because he was a deadly shooter.
Had Syracuse not pulled a Houston Cougar free throw exhibition, they would have been crowned. Syracuse adjusted and held Alford to zero field goals in the second half.
It did in a big way for Smart. Callaway did shit in the Championship. Coleman owned him. I dont think Calloway scored a single point that game and only had a couple rebounds. It was Daryl Thomas who easily could have been the MVP of that game.
If you wanna talk piss poor officiating then talk the ref who just T'd Ed Cooley for trying to get his team fired up.
Pretty quiet day yesterday. As good as Thurs/Fri can be, Sat/Sun are the best basketball days of the year. It's the divisional weekend of the NFL playoffs, incredible theatre. Historically, a 2 seed will go down and it's 50/50 that a 1 takes an early exit.
The head of officials continues to excuse the inexcusable. NCAA coordinator of officials John Adams released a statement – at the timely hour of 1:57 a.m. – that said Cooley’s act of hitting over the chair violated “bench personnel committing an unsportsmanlike act.” Cooley’s argument was that he was trying to coach his team, and hitting the chair wasn’t directed at an official or his call. Common sense sides with Cooley.
This KY officiated game is just stupid. Stein and Towns just murder people and no calls anywhere. Fouled Ellis out on a play where Stein climbed over top of him.
