In this scenario, why keep Mahoney? Makes no sense to waste that money

His contract expires next year and Sheridan can come on staff.

It's cheaper to use a GA one year as a qb coach and then rearrange the staff.

    Who is Sheridan?

I'm not expecting much from Croom this coming year due to his knee.

A former Michigan qb that's on staff

All good and all. But it would be best to hire people who are already better than those trying to be all they can be.

This is just another quote to feed the sheep.

Hart is getting what he pays for.

I'm optimisitc. With his type (patellar tendon) injury typically one can resume full physical practice schedule 4-6 months after surgery, plenty of time to prepare and be ready by the season opener.

    True.

Time to earn that raise (3.6m) and extension through 2020. Third yr in, the pendulum swings from talent, depth, and youth towards coaching and execution.

AND he goes on record saying he could've paid more than Butch asked for. What a jerk.

I'd say offensive line, then Dobbs' passing

I have this idea in my head that our Oline will inevitably improve. I know it's silly given how poorly coached they clearly were last year.

As a group, I agree the OL has the most to prove.

Individually, Dobbs has shown he's a legit run threat I'd like to see him become equally as consistent, efficient, and effective in the passing gm

If he can do that we are going to very tough to defend.
