Positives: All the pieces look to be coming into place. Talent, motivation, internal player-based leadership. All of these are reflections of Butch Jones' coaching style.

    Negatives: Butch Jones' coaching style.

I'm still squarely on the fence with this team. I think 8-4 is attainable by this staff. I think a better staff with this roster would be looking at 10-2.

I want to be extremely excited by those Vines, but then I remember those are our O linemen.

Don't let it temper your enthusiam. It's more a demonstration of this d-lines (dominant) ability, imo Plenty of our opponents o-linemen will suffer the same or similar fate.

Truth is often somewhere in the middle.

Considering the O-Line performances of years past, I'm not going to get too excited about the videos

Yep. Jackson is a good guard. He's not great. Tuttle walked him backwards like a dominant DT should do.

Austin Sanders is a 3rd year guy that hasn't seen the field. McKenzie did exactly what a stud DT does to 3rd year players that haven't played.

Jakob Johnson worked out at TE today.

    Bynum was 1st team Mlb.

    Von Pearson conditioned on sidelines.

And don't be surprised when Austin Sanders gets steamrolled by the opposing DTs too. Probably gonna happen some.

Hopefully he doesn't see the field

    He shouldn't.

Bynum is good at being where he should be but will see less and less playing time as the younger guys get more acquainted to the college game.

Yeah Jackson is not great but he is a mature college football player.

Apparently Marcus Jackson has sustained a potential significant injury...Haven't heard or seen any details yet...

If getting dominated by that guy is a "career ender," then RIP football pretty soon.
