Here's my thoughts on how 2017 breaks for UT...

Berch goes 5-7, maybe 6-6 and gets shitcanned. Yay!!!

Kevin Sumlin goes 5-7, maybe 6-6 and gets shitcanned. Meh....

UT administration hires Kevin Sumlin to be UT's new coach and we continue to suck dog balls for the next decade.

    Honestly?

If JG is legitimate, I think this team can be pretty dang good next year. Can Butch do anything with it? No idea.

We went 3-4 our last 7 games this year. When it comes to finding losses, Jones is a master detective. He's the batman of losing.

This. I gave him way more credit than he deserved (really, I gave the TEAM credit more than him...) last season... I won't make that mistake next season. Anyone that could lose to South Carolina AND Vanderbilt is capable of any depravity... Lose by 2 TD to Do-Ma Flotchy Polytech? Berch will find a way.

I see 7-5 or 6-6. Georgia Tech beats us.

GaTech isn't going to beat us. I'm more confident about than one than I was about VaTech.

If Georgia tech goes up early, they win by two scores.

Well, we lost to USC, Vandy, and Alabama this year, and we'll be worse next year, so not really a reach to think we could lose those again.

I'll take LSU over us in November.

If it weren't for a miracle against UGA, we'd have lost to a first year coach in Athens. Pretty easy to see us dropping that game next year.

    Florida is Florida.

If the run defense looks as bad next year as it has this year, we could leave Atlanta with a loss.

Add in the Botch factor to all these and it isn't too hard to find losses.

JG is the only way we win 8 or more.

Like, I think a butch team has to average over 35 a game to be above .667.

Next year's record does not matter if Botch is still around at the end of it.

    They certainly could beat us.

Jennings will be the leader and heart and soul of the team. John Kelly and Kirkland will be there too. The team won't quit and have the same bullshit it had this year. However, I will never underestimate Butch Jones to muck it all up.

I guess 7-5 looks like a possibility. I think if GT beats us we'd need some sort of miracle win against Florida to keep the wheels from falling off.

I wonder how good the backup RBs are. John Kelly should be good quality, but we'll probably lean on him really hard with a new QB. He gets hurt and it could get ugly.

Team didn't quit this year. We're just not very well coached.
