Talking at the time of hire, he absolutely is.

Who has he owned, ever? Pruitt would have to be Butch or worse for that to be true IMO

At the time of the hire, on paper, doesn’t imply much of anything about his future, which is all any of us really care about. He’d also then be much better than Dabo.

    Okay.

I was responding to smmiff's points about Pruitt and Kirby. Literally every thing he was saying was true about both, only Kirby's been at it longer.

Worse coaches than Mullen have owned us.

Pruitt can be a good coach and still not get past UGA or UF.

Last year was the worst team he 'll field.

At least on defense, he isn't nearly as conservative. We'll see what he wants Helton to do with the offense but with our lack of talent we're going to give up the big play more often than not next year.

I think that geographic factors help UGA. I'd like to hear your rationale here.

UGA has Clemson and Auburn in their lap. Tennessee borders 8 states and is a 10 hour drive from over half the nation. UGA recruits more regionally than Tennessee.

    I'll await your put-downs.

    UGA has Atlanta. We don't.

No reason we couldn't own nashville. And uga can't sign them all from atlanta, whereas we could lock down the good ones in nashville

That's never stopped Tennessee from recruiting Atlanta well

RockyHill Loves Auburn more than Tennessee.

Not to say there is no merit on your point but UGA recruits a smaller footprint because they can. If Tennessee could live within the boundaries of Memphis, Lexington, Charlotte and Huntsville they would.

It’s easier to recruit in your own backyard. This is not arguable.
