Kansas getting into an all out brawl that went into the stands the week of our game was an ideal scenario for us.

 

Never did I ever envision thinking "These guys can't handle John Fulkerson.".

Best first half of offense we've had in a while.

Defense is good, Ole Miss has missed a buncha shots too.

 

Hope so, but Ole Miss is not good.

 

The announcers were [itch bay]ing about Barnes complaining when up several points. They forgot to take off the headsets. This was on the ESPN.com/watch feed.

 

Eh. Hard to tell. We were due a half like this no doubt. But hard for me to believe we're gonna be anything but inconsistent this season. Good to see some flashes though. James really settling in. Fulky playing his best ball since being here and I think Plavsic is showing hes going to be serviceable in the future.

Scovi just has to get quicker and pass over length better. Dude can shoot, which should justify him being on the floor some. And he'll drive and make a good dish here and there, enough to show us he can do something. But I think we'll see a big difference with him next year.

 

So, Saturday might have just gotten a bit more interesting.

 

No. Ole miss has no length and only 1 major scoring threat. They aren't awful and can hang with teams if Tyree goes off but their 3,4 and 5 players aren't sec level

 

Barnes sees one of the best halves we have played this year, and his intensity went up with it.

 

James is skilled. And it becomes clearer every game. We are better with him at the point. I’m down on Vescovi. Not sure he makes us better.

 

So, we playing the Kansas intramural champs Saturday?

 

Been a decade since our intramural squad beat them.
