2019 Vols

A minimally flawed team that has 6 guys in double figures on any given day. Now number one in the country. Feels good man. Their path to a championship is much narrower than say a team like Duke but they can do it.

 

An 11-0 start is crucial, because 4-3 is very possible for the final month.

 

I musta been thinking about the year after when they made the sweet 16

 

I credit all of this to Hat’s absence from the site. As soon as he moved to “parts unknown” the team has been unstoppable.

 

As long as Shane Foster doesn’t dress Wednesday night we should be alright.

 

Darius Garland went out early in the year for vandy. Local BA kid that was looking at a 1 and done. I was looking forward to the Bone vs Garland battle. BA got the best of Ensworth and Bone most of the time.

 

This team has a different mental makeup that the 08 team.

In some ways, beating Memphis State was the worst thing that team could have done in hindsight.

 

Felt good.

One of my 3 favorite days as a Tennessee basketball fan.

 

I loved watching Chris Lofton play basketball, still one of my favorite basketball players to wear the orange.

One of the rare times I was actually in my seat in 317. I could see right down the line on that shot. Knew it was in the whole way.

 

Loved Lofton and that team. Walk on Jujuan. We got away with a lot of late clock launches by Lofton and company. This team seems to seldom be in that position. I really like Barnes attitude about getting into the offense and a good shot up quickly if its there. Not exactly old school thinking

Really hoping history doesn’t repeat itself today. This game may provide some insight into the rest of the season.

 

If we lose tonight, itll be because the bus driver went to the wrong gym.

I think Vandy will play hard and maybe stay close for the first few minutes, but the game should not be in jeopardy.......at all....at any point.

Yup.

Bama beat the brakes off of Ole Miss last night. That's a team starting to turn around.

 

Bama is a different Bama at home. Hard to say anything is different about them.
