Notice fewer one step off left foot layup attempts tonight by Bone. He was protecting his ankle a little from saturday.

I've been a little critical of this team of late, 3 point defense and rebounding are the 2 main things...but while I complain I looked over the schedule so far and 20 of our 24 games have resulted in at the very least a double digit victory.

Pretty impressive stat, regardless of whether weve played the toughest part of the schedule yet or not.

So last night SEC network showed SECT bracket if the season were to end today. Tennessee was on the 1 line.

Can someone explain this to me? How do we have the advantage at 14-2 (at the time) over 14-2 LSU who owns the head to head win?

I guess if it ended before LSU tipped off they’d just be 13-2?

It’s because we’re 15-2 and LSU is 14-2. If they beat Florida tonight, they’re back at the 1.

Bullshit if we beat auburn and its decided with a road game where an LSU fan reffed. Dude called twice the fouls on us, including several ridiculous ones and let Will Wade yell at him for 2 hours wihout repercussion.

I went to bed last night, but a lot of times these are "live standings" where they assume that the game currently in progress finishes with whatever result it has at the time. So if Tennessee was ahead when they showed it, that would explain the discrepancy.

    I see.

Not the way I'd do it.

don't know the veracity of these numbers, but this is interesting

Only thing that comes to mind as an explanation is we take a ton of mid range jumpers that are less likely to draw fouls than drives.

I've seen it most in soccer, where score fluctuations are much less common, but they do it in other sports. I haven't seen it before in basketball, but I guess it could make sense if Tennessee had the game well in hand by the time they flashed the graphic. That's my best guess.
