I keep saying Nkamhoua had to put that CJ Black/Wayne Chism element to his game or he's irrelevant. Lord knows that [uck fay]er is soft as lotion down low.

 

I dont recall a trail 3 being hit all year. It's such a great rhythm shot and I've seen it all weekend in the tourney. I miss it.

 

Ya, we are really not multidimensional these last 2 years. I don't blame teams for going zone and forcing outside looks. It is clearly the formula.

 

Have we even had a big that clocked significant minutes that could hit it since Chism? Grant was only like 6’6 and wasn’t great at it. Alexander wasn’t a big enough threat. Derek Reese? Lol.

 

Grant was good enough to give some respect to by the time he left

 

Chism was a killer with that outside set shot.

Top of the key shot by the 4 or 5 has been wide ass open for 2 years. Defender just sags and helps cover passing and driving lanes

I do like the idea that Barnes could potentially turn this staff into a midmajor coach factory. Probably not the best for recruiting, though.

Is Kim coming back home to replace Barnes in a few years?

 

Think he goes home to Mizzou once they run out of patience with Cuonzo.

 

Barnes is building a pretty impressive track record of getting his assistants into head coaching gigs. English is only 32 years old. It should be a really attractive job for another hot shot assistant.
