2020-21 Basketball Season

Analytics abuse. There should be a fine associated with it.

 

We are a below average shooting team. I don't know how that gets factored in to the formula.

 

As bad as it sounds like last night was, I would hate to be whoever we play next.

 

Im saying build your team around it. 1-5 should be able to shoot and handle the ball. Force other teams to play your style and size.

 

I doubt it is.

 

Not sure wha to expect tonight. I’m sure we will bounce back and Springer is expected to play. Vescovi’s injury linger?

Missouri has proven they are legit - despite their first half effort against us in the first matchup.

 

This team has to get easy buckets in transition. They’ve gotta be one of the worst teams in the league right now at this. Even last years team was a lot better at this. We force a lot of turnovers normally so this should be a huge part of our scoring.

Looks like another shit show.

 

We really need to find scorers and shooters. We have plenty of jack of all trades guys. This team is too often really painful to watch trying to score.

 

Was Pruitt paying the basketball team too? This is abysmal.

 

Spacing sucks and offensive sets suck and cuonzo needs to get the [uck fay] off the court on the defensive end.

 

No kidding. He's damn near inside the three point line at times.

 

Just play the walkons

 

This team has a significant number of deficiencies which were masked by an incredibly weak schedule. There is time to turn this around, but, man, they've got problems.

 

This team is a .500 SEC team. Not good at anything, outside of some spurts of above average defense.

 

Tennessee has to get the worst 5-star recruits in all sports of any team. No one could be close.

 

Vescovi is soooo slow in getting a shot off. What should be wide open threes after a fake end up being contested because the defender has time to recover or he has to pass.

 

We have a weird deal with Barnes wanting to play smaller lineups, but we don't actually play small ball. We lack quickness and want to play in half court sets with a bunch of set shooters. And, as with most Barnes' teams, a quick guard gives his teams absolute fits.
