I read that they cancelled a speech for the outdoor overflow crowd because there is no overflow.

 

I am surprised the crowd wasn't the typical sized Trump rally crowd.

 

I'm not, while there are people not taking covid as seriously as they should, plopping into a big arena will even give several of them pause. Plus aren't cases surging there anyways?

Seriously, Trump speaking for 20 minutes on the West Point speech was like nothing I've ever seen or heard and we've been condition not to be surprised in these past 4 years. I still cannot fathom why people want to see him speak for two hours on mindless gibberish such as this. Somewhere, Cicero is trying to figure a way to slit his wrist even after death.

In the end, as I said in 2016 when the argument was presented, size of rallies means very little. Trump had big ones in 2016, Hillary not so much, and she got more overall votes, though lost the EC. Bernie had good sized rallies and got smoked once it was just him and Biden. The funny part, though, is Trump really cares about shit like this, which is why they hyped the "one million ticket requests" so much. He's the one guy this sort of thing could deflate him for a time.

 

I think he had his lifts on and walking down that ramp in high heeled shoes is hard.
