Can Trump go a week without saying something stupid? Now he's given the media a soundbite about American Jewish people.

Given recent revelations, isn't it as likely Ocho is using at some kind of balm and you never see it?

Interesting development in the Federal Appeals court today as they ruled it is unconstitutional to force an elector to vote according to the popular vote of the state, the "faithless elector". With close elections in the Electoral College, it may be interesting to see a situation in which an elector affects the outcome by refusing to cast their vote according to the state voting outcome. There were a few faithless electors in 2016.

I hope Trump can somehow fend this GOP challenger off.
Damn, do I love this President.

I still can't believe that a guy who couldn't beat Cruz thought he had a shot at winning the Dem nod.

No, he was never a darling for the party. There were a group of people who wanted it, but most wanted him to run for senate again.

Swing voters are repelled by leftist policies from healthcare to immigration that 2020 Democrat presidential primary candidates have endorsed, a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) reveals.

MIT researcher Alexander Agadjanian published his latest research in the New York Times, where he revealed that swing voters likely are six percentage points less likely to vote for a Democrat against President Trump in the 2020 election after learning of the leftist policy positions they have embraced.

And the populace hasn’t even started paying attention yet.

It’s the same problem / advantage, depending on your political perspective, as 2016 - for all of his many and real shortcomings, Trump simply has the higher and better ground than the Dems. And however admittedly ham-handed as he has been and can be, he’s a master at highlighting and accentuating his advantages.

The crazier the Dems get, the more coarse and crass it allows Trump to be, and where he’s strongest. They should be trying to beat him by scoring more points in a purely technical and tactical fight...but instead, he repeatedly goads then into racing to the center of the ring so as to stand there and trade punches in a slug fest. I’d like to say I’m still somewhat surprised when he gets them to do it, but their willingness to oblige their own bludgeoning has become a trope at this point.

And the more the Dems continue to try and mollify the the bleeding edge of the extreme left (eg Medicare for all, free college, take guns, open borders....basically socialism, etc.) it’s only going to worsen, as they move further and further away from the electable core.

We have a lot of fun talking politics, and my positions have been made clear, but I’m still genuinely marveled that the Dems can’t seem to grasp this simple reality: For however terrible they constantly claim Trump to be, he’s still more preferred than their own policies.

Wow, should be an easy re-election bid then.
