I'm pretty sure coaches are using #VolTwitter as a recruiting pitch for how much money you can make off your followers in the future. So these damn Twitter recruiting warriors absolutely feel validated now.
twitter is so bad but if I was 18 and stuck at home and had the attitude it takes to play at a high level, i'd probably be screwing with everybody too. All the followers and dear jessie beggars and advice from twitterland from football fans. It's all silly to me that it even exists.
Probably making sure the recruiting sites don't drop their ratings since they won't be driving traffic without intrigue of where they end up.
We’re no even sure that they were not directed to do this as a recruiting tactic. We do have some of the best recruiters in the business on our staff.
I could be getting way ahead of myself with this line of thinking but the way this group has used social media things like Twitter for recruiting. I would not be surprised in the least to find out that it was all part of the plan. If I were having to recruit kids these days, I would for sure be asking my kids and all their friends for any and every idea of what was cool.Coach Neids definitely has a way about him that understands what these you people seem to like.
Honestly I still think there will be a massive amount of movement in this class. I'm not necessarily reacting to the tweets.
Kids acting stupid for attention on social media. Nothing more or less. It does put the seriousness of their commitment into question though.
Tray Curry supposedly committed via Instagram, but no coaches have acknowledged it and it’s not being reported by 247 or Rivals. Seems like they’re maybe not accepting his commitment?
What’s the chatter about guys who are committed that will probably be told they need to look elsewhere?
