X on Basilio was just saying a few weeks ago that he didn’t think we had a shot at him, and that he was OSU bound.

 

I get the feeling that 247 isn't sold on him staying as a TE. Seems like they think he could end up at OT. Maybe thats affecting his rating on there.

 

Kid goes to my arch rival high school when growing up. That I will say the kid is the real deal means he is the real deal.

 

If he grows into an OT and keeps his athleticism, he'll be a first round draft pick.

 

Definitely. For what it's worth, he looks like a damn good TE prospect to me.

 

This is a kid people need to see in person. He comes across initially as unathletic due to how he looks and his stature, and he plays against nobody down in Savannah area but can run well, has good hands and size needed for an sec TE. Blitzing db or olb wont have it so easy busting up plays either. Our recent TEs got shoved around too much.
And he outweighs brinigstool by 45 or 50 lbs
