The Tennessee way. Keep a dead in the water coach for a season or two too long so they have a chance to ruin multiple recruiting classes on their way out the door.
I feel bad for all the 2021 recruits, they can't go officially visit campuses or meet coaches in person.
Yeah. If I’m an elite recruit that can go anywhere, I’m going somewhere with an established proven coach now more than ever. The used car salesman pitch from the lesser coaches ain’t gonna work so well right now.
Pruitt hasn't been a used car salesman recruiting wise, though. He's been bluntly honest with quite a few recruits and wins over a lot of parents/guardians that way. It's one reason the class has stayed together as good as it has.
I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up at any of the three out of Miami, Auburn or Tennessee. He's played the recruiting game well
Ita deeper of course but hypothetically if we had Trask or Borrow or Fields or one of 50 other qbs the last 2 years, we are not down on Pruitt imo
Considering JG has himself singlehandedly lost several and not carried the team for any Ws, i disagree. Imo we have 4, 5 or 6 more wins with a winning qb. College ball is all about the qb right now
