2021 Recruiting Thread

You guys remember back in the spring, when we landed a new commit every other day, and Tennessee was the “it” school for about 30-45 days, top 3 class, and everything inarguably on the right track?

Fun memories.

 

The winning streak was one of longest in D1

 

That really seems like about 24 years ago.

 

One of the reasons I don't give a shit about recruiting until December at the very earliest. I knew that was a fugazi. Even if we had a regular football season and won 9 we still wouldn't have finished in the top 3.

 

There were people here -not naming names- talking about how we could go a full calendar year w/o a loss if we beat UGA and Kenutucky. lol

 

Me. I find that to have been a reasonable topic. I didn't expect for a team to completely lose its shit in the second half of the UGA game and just roll around in said shit for months.

 

I brought it up actually.

 

I honestly thought we would go 8-2 at worst this year.

But then coach Gump decided to put us in club Gitmo and leave us there.

 

Looks like Lewis might be back in the fold.

That's funny and probably true. The guy has had some off the field issues too

 

Sounds like that highly-rated DE out of Alabama may be backing out. He is pushing back his signing.

He's delaying due to supposed Pruitt uncertainty as Pruitt is only reason he was picking UT

 

Yeah I tweeted out the Outback sign with the O missing.

 

I like him better than Lewis. Brooks I think.
