2021 Vols Baseball

11-2 now. Rolling right along.

 

Ranked 14th in the coaches poll.

That's good for 7th in the SEC.

 

That's insane.

 

Really no different than football

 

SEC baseball is insane.

 

Got took behind the woodshed at charlotte.

 

Got behind a couple times tonight, one of them early, but brought it back and won, to clinch another series.

 

Florida is 5th. Both in the country and in the SEC.

 

Now THAT is insane.

 

Nowhere else good to put this, but Tennessee Wesleyan is 21-0, outscoring teams 275-56, and has 14 wins against Top 25 NAIA teams.

 

Another sweep.

Real season begins Friday.

 

I don't have to be a baseball guy to know that is an incredible and rare place to be for a school that size.

 

One of the guys I coach with has a son on staff. They are on fire.

And that's insane at any level, anywhere.

 

Billy Berry is one of the finest men I've ever met.

Also, what they've done with the young kid named Neyland who has cancer, is the coolest story you'll ever see.

 

Yeah, I've followed that too. And it really is awesome. I half expect them to figure out a way to let him play in a game at this point.

 

Moved into the Top 10 this week, but still 6th in the SEC.

 

Also, beat ETSU with a walkoff Beck HR tonight.

 

Bending Georgia over a barrel and showing them the 57 states at the moment

 

Just took 2 of 3. Great opening weekend of SEC play for the Vols.

Could have been a sweep too, but that doesn’t matter now.

 

I'll always take 2 of 3 on the road, but man that was an error away from being a sweep.
