2022 Basketball Recruiting

Do we have interest in the kid from Bartlett who just decommitted from Memphis state?

 

I don't think we need a PG. Edwards is coming in next year and they like Ziegler a lot. Our scholarships are limited for 2022.

 

I had no clue. I don't follow ball recruiting at all.

 

Yeah, I think Chandler is gone after this year, but most everyone else will probably be back and Fulky is already an extra player this year. So, his loss doesn't count. I imagine a guy might transfer or a surprise Huntley-Hatfield declaration might be there, too. But, we've got, like 1 or 2 scholarships this year.

 

Barnes is getting his ass kicked in recruiting for the ‘22 class. Think we’ve lost on 5 high 4*/5* guys where we were mostly top 2 and a couple top 3. And the other ones we are in contention for are unlikely.

 

We probably aren’t going to have room to take more than 2 or 3 guys this year anyway. Not a big deal

 

It is a big deal, it's just not a season breaker. Hopefully.

 

I think we end up losing 4-5 guys.

 

We don’t get to replace Fulky

 

We gonna pluck any of these LSU recruits?

 

Don't think we have many schollys to dish out for next year assuming everyone comes back minus Fulky and Kennedy.

Either way we won't see what Santi has done in awhile imo. Really he and Lofton the last 25 years are the most cold blooded mofos one can ask for. We need 2 spot up deadly shooters as I expect him to leave. He's some ballhandling work away from Goran Dracic type game imo but potentially a better shooter.
He has changed momentum so many times for us and when teammates see the ball go in they all expect to make the next shot.
