2022 Basketball Recruiting

We have 0 spots counting Edwards but we actually have 1 because Chandler isn’t returning. We should eventually get a 2nd spot. Still a lot of smoke around BHH.

 

We were going to have an extra spot last year but then used it on Tamba.

 

If Phillips or BHH go play for Auburn I’ll be disgusted. They’re likely to add one of LSU’s 5 star recruits already.

BHH is considering transferring to Auburn? That would suck.

 

We will lose some receuits who don’t want to have a coach all over them like Barnes does as he’s trying to develop. Hopefully BHH improvement and PT over the season keeps him there but I know early on he was not happy, but kids need to be patient. Some have had no coach on them or adversity then step into college and don’t know how to respond or have the support group to be there. Instead with portal now it’s “ screw them they don’t know your game”.

 

He’s apparently still a risk for leaving. Idk if he would end up at Auburn if he does decide to transfer but they’ll definitely make a push for him if they haven’t already been trying secretly.

Arkansas is going to be the standard for the near future in the SEC, unfortunately.

 

Their coach probably jumps ship after a few years. Back to the NBA maybe. He’s quite the douchebag so hopefully sooner rather than later.

 

I guess we may be losing another guard or we don’t like our chances with Phillips. Or we think Phillips would primarily be a 4 here and we are going to lose a big man.

 

Pushing pretty hard for Brandon Murray. Pay site said Phillips will come down to the schools that were his finalists last time (FSU/UT/USCw) which would mean no Auburn, but not sure about that. If it’s between those 3 I have no idea but I don’t like going up against FSU.

 

Guess they aren’t putting all their eggs in the Phillips basket.

 

This would be a coup
