McCoy was injured in Jan - Hood entered portal in April and committed in May.... which is pretty late.


It should be noted that Hood was also a pretty obscure transfer. Ranked as the #47 CB transfer of 2025... so it's not like he had a bevy of choices. If anything, the fact that Makari Vickers transferred into Colorado in Dec 2024 probably had more to do with Hood entering the portal. Also, by May, most schools open to a transfer CB have already taken theirs in.

 

So, Aguilar played this season with a tumor in his shoulder.
