‘07 was like 3 or 4 in the nation with multiple 5 stars and they were all busts except for Eric Berry.
They were but it wasn't a loaded class like the others. Don't get me wrong, it was a great class but it got that ranking designation because Manning, Stewart, and the in state kid (Ronnie Pillow?) were 3 of the top 10 QBs in the country.

As it stands, this is already our highest rated class on paper since the 2015. Also sounds like we could flip a DE that’s a top 100 player from Auburn today.
Yep, and wanted some upfront from what I understand. We have a few guys that are committed else where we are already trying to flip.
I know nothing of these kind of things, but it irritates me when fellow know-nothings immediately assume it is bad for a guy to go somewhere else as we keep flipping highly rated guys. Maybe he wants to play quickly and thinks his chances are better somewhere else. Maybe he wants to be a big fish so he is going to a smaller pond. Maybe money is his main motivator so he will chase each dollar on the front end. The sky isnt falling and he wasn't make or break for the class.
He was a commit we took and probably shouldn't have as we have some better ones on our radar. It worked out pretty well for us.
The amazing part about being a Vols fan is, as well as Heupel is recruiting, he is only the 3rd best recruiter among head coaches in Knoxville. Hell, I think he might be fourth.
Former Tennessee standout makes strong statement about the way Josh Heupel and the Vols are recruiting his son
I can't imagine William Inge being anything other than impressive to most parents. He seems like a good dude and a good coach.
