That’s not a bad starting 5. Aidoo coming in off the bench is solid too. If Powell can learn how to hit a 3, and we can pull in a couple of solid transfers, we should at least be decent.

 

I don’t think Zeigler will be starting. Pretty confident we get a solid PG out of the portal. But we do really still need a dynamic guard or forward to be balanced. That’s a lot of guys 1-3 that don’t get to the rim when you add Powell, Mashack and Key to that. Obviously Zeigler can but half of those end up getting blocked.

 

A solid PG that allows ZZ to come off the bench is obviously a good thing. Getting to the rim more frequently is one thing I'd love to see JJJ add to his game next season.

 

Is JJJ leaving because that would be a blow?

I think this tweet was genuine. He probably thinks it could be over at UT. He moved out yesterday. I think he is open/optimistic about the idea that he will get a good enough draft grade to leave.
