21-22 Season

Nkamhoua always plays nervous and soft.

 

No one can finish at the rim.

 

This team is going to test my sanity, I can already tell.

We're also gonna hit 120 one night when we are hot.

 

Defense is a hot mess and rebounding is scary. I understand the reliance on threes, but you still gotta have some variety in the shot making.

The freshmen all look good.

 

Tech is shooting damn near 60% and we are still winning. If they cool off this will be a blow out.

 

I can't remember a set of freshmen looking all looking good so early.

 

We need to bulegeon our bigs every single day in the off season to make them play more physical.

 

Need more of that from Nkamouah

 

Running a modern offense just covers up so many flaws.

 

Chandler is so [dadgum] good and he even has room to improve.

 

Brock Jancek has been on this team for 37 years

 

I want to wait until Fulky returns until I get a good sense of what we'll do this season. But, I like the youngins better than the old guys, at this point. I still have concerns about defense and getting beat off the dribble, plus rebounding could be an issue against better teams. The offense may be intriguing and having Chandler at the point will cure a lot of problems.

 

They cooled off and we kicked their teeth in. I'm happy.

 

Our schedule is kind of too difficult. Seems like we will either be playing for a high seed or scraping ahead of the bubble even playing top 25 level basketball

 

Lack of post presence isn’t good

 

Us and Villanova will shoot 100 3s in that game.

 

SOS is pretty well integrated in the selection process. We could win 21 in the regular season and still potentially get a 5 seed I think. They know.

 

Pretty sure there have been teams left out with SOS in the 30's over teams with similar records and SOS north of 70

 

Well I'm just parroting what I've heard people/media saying about our schedule. You might be right though

 

Also, I think our schedule is going to be top 10. All those Big 10 teams with several losses got good seeds last year.
